Age Well Athens County works with local partners to improve livability for older adults. Our programs focus on home safety, social connection, community health, and access to trusted local resources. We serve all communities across Athens County, including Athens, Nelsonville, Albany, Glouster, Coolville, Chauncey, and Trimble.

We help older adults identify fall risks, improve accessibility, and make their homes safer. Our assessments highlight practical changes that support independence.
Resource Connections for Transportation
Age Well does not operate a transportation service. Instead, we connect older adults with trusted local providers, including United Seniors of Athens County, which offers transportation options for medical appointments, errands, and community activities.
Community Engagement & Events
We host listening sessions, workshops, and age-friendly events that bring older adults together. These activities strengthen community connections and support healthy aging.
Age-Friendly Community Planning
